Deanne Eccles - Body Sense Response

Deanne is a long term resident of Healesville, Yarra Ranges and has spent years mastering the art of ‘body sense response’. She approached us with the goal of documenting her process, her story, and some of her paintings that had featured in an exhibition.

Deanne wanted the backing track of this video to use pieces that were recorded live at the exhibition. The musicians playing were improvising whilst practising ‘body sense response’ in front of her paintings. We took these recordings and cut them into one cohesive soundscape.
